Wesley's Great Adventures

Life sure has changed in the last few months. It seems that when Wesley turned 1 year old he thought it meant 10 years old. I never new a 1 year old knew so much. From someone who crawled (or army crawled) only 4-5 months ago and was easy to keep up with, he has now learned to crawl faster than I can walk and walk and run with great speeds also. All of a sudden, he was taking off across the room with no problem. . . stopping. . . turning. . . bending and picking up toys. . . and throwing them all while walking around. I was amazed!! On top of that, it seems his comprehension skills have increased as well as the ability to tell us what he wants. He is saying all of the "b" words (ball, book, ba (bottle), bye bye, baby, bite) . . . da (dog). . . ca (Cosmo or Keto-the cat and dog). . . grrrrpa (for Grandpa) . . grrrr (for Grandma). . . Pop Pop (for his other Grandpa). . . Na (for Nannie his other Grandma). . . da da (Daddy). . . and ma ma (Mommy). He is pointing to what he wants now also, as well as trying to do things that relate. He attempts to put his shoes and socks on his feet. . . or at least puts them where they go and pushes. He loves eating with silverware. He is getting alot better at stabbing the food with a fork and getting it in his mouth. If he can't do it, he'll pick up the food with his fingers on one hand, pick up the silverware with the other, and put them both in his mouth at the same time. He's figuring it out!! He loves to go down the hall and look at all of the pictures on the wall. He'll point and try and say who it is. He also loves looking at a picture of Grandpa and Grandma (Tom and Donna). He'll smile and point, and, sometimes, give them a hug and kiss. He has 7 teeth with more coming through and we'll find out how much he weighs and how tall he is in a couple weeks. He is definately getting taller because he can reach ALOT now. Time to baby proof a little more. That's all I can think of right now. . .
