A Visit to Ft. Massac
We decided to venture out today and enjoy the warm (ok, 60 degree) weather and sunshine. We went to Ft. Massac in town and took a walk around the fort and took some pictures. The sun was going down and it was getting dark, so the lighting isn't the best on all of them.

Isn't this a cool silhouette of the George Rogers Clark statue?
Actually, it is Erick. They are refurbishing the statue, so only the base is standing for now. Erick had to get up on it and pretend to be George Rogers Clark. . . or shall I say George Rogers Oshel?
Ha, I can sneak a rock in my mouth while you're taking my picture.
I just love these next two pictures (I cropped the long shots to make close-ups) of Erick and Wesley.
It's the family portrait shots taken by the garbage can and the camera timer. :)
I had to throw this in, the sunset was so beautiful over the river.
