I do have a question though. How in the world do you keep gloves or mittens on a little one? I think we went through 3 different pairs trying to keep his hands covered?
I had to laugh out loud at your question! The answer is "nothing can be done." You let them play until they can't feel their fingers anymore (which they often don't notice cause they are having too much fun) and have the hot cocoa waiting when they finally realize and come back inside!
I was going to say the same thing - when they realize how cold their fingers get they will wear gloves. Maybe next year. :) Or I have tried using socks pulled up to the elbows, which lasts a little longer....
I'm a California boy (shorts and flip-flops) and am now a big time 5 year old. I'm starting kindergarten in the fall and am so excited! I love going to the beach, playing Wii, reading books, cooking, playing games, and going to school. Life is Great! Enjoy my adventures.
