I Had a "Ball" on My Birthday
OK, the theme of his birthday was balls. He absolutely loves balls, of any kind. He does not discriminate, he loves soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs, tennis balls, kick balls, meatballs, peas, round lights, the sun, the moon. . . shall I go on. Being that the theme was balls, I made him a bigger baseball cake with smaller football, basketball, and soccer ball cakes. They turned out pretty well (except the soccer balls didn't look much like soccer balls).

He seemed to have a blast at his party. My brother and his family, my parents, and my nephews all came. We had it at the park and had a cookout of hotdogs and hamburgers, watermelon, beans, etc., etc.

The kids played on the playground, played soccer, and frisbee. Wesley loved opening his presents this year. He was very particular about opening them though. He would tear off pieces and hand them to Nick (my nephew), investigate the present, and then hand the present over to Nick and ask for more. He got books, a boat, a duck chair, a bubble lawn mower, a bubble blower, an easel with all the accessories, a Barney doll that sings the I Love You song, a truck, a duckie chair, kids music CD's, a fish tank, and a fishing pole. No, the fishing pole isn't to fish in the fish tank. . . although that might be fun.
Alright, it's present time!!!!!!!

Opening Presents II
One of the sweetest moments of the party was when he opened the Barney doll and it started to sing "I Love You, You Love Me, . . . " He leaned over and gave my youngest nephew, Winston (3 yrs old) a big hug on his own. Winston didn't quite know what to do, but eventually warmed up and gave Wesley a hug back. It was cute and so innocent.
After the presents were open, Wesley had to try out a few. He walked the bubble lawn mower all over the place. (Sorry, the video needs rotated but I can't figure out how)
We finally got to the cake. This video is a little crooked too, I don't know what I was doing.

Great job on the cakes! And great to hear from you again. :)
Do you have Windows Movie Maker on your computer? It will let you rotate movies.

To be honest, I have no clue. Isn't that sad, I'm an IT person and I don't know. I work on computers so much at work that by the time I get home I don't even want to look at one. Thanks for the info, I'll check.
