Are Balls Just a Memory?

Anyone who has read all of my posts know that Wesley was totally infatuated with a ball. Everything round was a ball. Well, his new word is now bubbles. At first, he replaced bubbles for ball and everything that was round was a bubble. I guess through showing him all the bubbles in a book, they looked like a bunch of tiny balls floating in the air so he assumed they should be called bubbles instead of balls. Well, I think we are on the right track finally. First, I made a bubble bath for him and showed him real bubbles. Next, Pop Pop and Cody blew some real bubbles for him to see. He was pretty excited. Daddy also has been blowing bubbles for him (and Keto). Wesley gets a kick out of seeing Keto chase the bubbles and try to eat them, so he is now trying to run after the bubbles also and catch them to have them suddenly POP! and disappear. He hasn't quite figured out this magic yet, but, when they disappear he is yelling BUUUUUUUUUUB-BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS to get some more. So, now, instead of calling round things bubbles, he is now seeing the bubble bottle and saying it, or pointing into the bathroom at his bottle of bubble bath and saying bubbles. Now that he has learned the real bubbles, he has gone back to being infatuated with balls again. Oh well, we still get a kick out of him being so excited to see a ball.
