We Went Potty . . . . . . Again!!!

Yeah, is this becoming a habit? I was speaking to my mom on the phone tonight and Wesley started pulling his pants and diaper off in the living room and was saying potty-potty-potty! I told my mom "gotta go-bye" and Wesley and I ran to the bathroom. I pulled his pants down and his diaper off quickly and he sat on the potty. I could tell he was trying to go because he was releasing a ton of toots (air. . . poots . . . gas, whatever you call it). After about a minute he started peeing. He then had to get up and look at it. OK, took a look and started to squat down on the floor. No-no. . . sit on the potty and do that. So, back on the potty he went. In all the commotion, Daddy came in and cheered him and Keto came in and licked him and Cosmo came in and jumped on the counter. I guess this was too much for him while he is concentrating and trying to go poo-poo, so he actually got up off of the potty and pushed everyone out the door and shut the door (Mommy got to stay though). He then came and sat back down on the potty, grunted some more, smiled, tooted, and then it happened. The proud moment!! A little poo-poo landed at the bottom of the potty. Once again, he was proud, Mommy was proud, and Daddy opened the door back up and praised him too. Of course, he had to inspect the remnants of his efforts. Thankfully, he didn't try and pick it up. So, we picked up the pot and dumped it in the big potty, rinsed it, and he flushed it all the while watching it swirl around and down the black hole into potty heaven. I don't have high expectations anymore to get excited. . . a little pee-pee here and a little poo-poo there is all I need to have a good day. :)
