Yeah!!!!! Toys.

Remember me commenting before how great a memory I felt that Wesley had. I really hope he keeps this kind of memory all his life, because it amazes me how he remembers things. One day last week Wesley and I went to this consignment sale on their half price day to see what they had left. Of all things, I totally forgot to load the stroller in the car so I had to try and hold his hand as we went through the store. Well, there were tables of loose toys and he just thought that was great. We went around to each table and he got to pick out a few toys to purchase (a .50 plastic firehat, a .50 gardening/cooking apron, and a bag of 4 books for 1.00) We had to do the toys first so I could carry them to the racks of clothes so I could try and look while I gave him the books to sit on the floor and look at. Anyway, after about 30 minutes I gave up and headed out of the store with a few small things for him. This week, we went back to the consignment sale to pick up all of the stuff we had brought there to try and sell. (It only goes on for 1 week and anyone can submit stuff to sale) We didn't even pull up in the parking lot and out of the back seat we hear "YEAH!!!!! TOYS!!!!!!" Erick and I were amazed that he remembered this place and we hadn't even gone in there yet and there really isn't anything significant about the outside of the building. Luckily, when I was growing up I had this kind of memory for learning things at school and I could get away with looking at something once and knowing it. Hopefully he will too.
