Would You Like Fries With That
As a special treat for Wesley, his Nannie and Pop Pop stop at McDonald's with him on the days that they pick him up from daycare. Normally, they get him a plain cheeseburger and a chocolate milk. A few funny events have happened from this.
1. I was trying to fix him some lunch one day and I was going through a list of food items asking if that was what he wanted for lunch. Ham sandwich, spaghetti, fish sticks, ravioli, maccaroni and cheese, etc. . . He said no to all of them and then said "cheeseburger".
2. I picked him up from daycare last week and he saw the McDonald's sign and begged me all the way home to stop and buy him a chocolate milk by saying "chocolate milk-chocolate milk".
3. His new daycare has a McDonald's playset in it, complete with the french fry fryer, griddle, etc. It is full size, probably about as tall as Wesley. I picked him up yesterday and he started playing with the set and said he was "cooking cheeseburger and chocolate milk".
