H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N
Well, we finally decided on what Wesley would be for Halloween this year. He has been loving cooking lately and loves to watch the cooking shows with us, so we decided to make him a chef. This is Wesley's first real year of going trick-or-treating. He loved it! He was really getting into the fact that he could go up to someone and say "Trick-or-Treat" and they would give him candy. He did pretty good saying Trick-or-Treat, but sometimes he would slip and say "Candy, please!" This cracked us up. We didn't tell him that at all, but I'm proud of the fact that he would say please. He did pretty good at saying "thank you" to everyone, although we had to remind him a few times. Overall, he loved his "Halloween hat" (as he put it) and kept going around saying "HALLOWEEN". He stopped at one house that had ghosts out front and loved them. He said "ghosts-ghosts-BOOOOO!!!" As you can tell from his pics, he carried a pan as his candy bag (and we transferred the candy to a real bag afterwards so he wouldn't drop it) and a plastic spatula. We also taught him to say "Ba-Bam!!! with the hand motions (for those of you who are Emeril fans). I'm not playing favorites, but I think he was the cutest one out there. But, I am his mom and who am I to think otherwise?

Practicing saying "Trick-or-Treat" before we leave
