Wesley's Great Adventures

I am so excited. Wesley is getting a new teacher at daycare. Not that there is anything wrong with his current one, but this new teacher has such a desire to teach and help the children learn. She is currently the pre-school age teacher, but they are moving her down to the 2-year old classroom. I guess she used to teach at a Montessori school and learned a lot about proper ways to teach children where they learn. She has used some program in the past that teaches the children to read and comprehend language and says it really works. I guess she also used to be a nanny for a down syndrome child and she taught the child to read at 2 1/2 years old. She has also been teaching the children baby sign language. I got the opportunity to watch her interact with the children this morning and she is great at discipline and working with the children explaining things to them. She really seems to get them and how they think. Even after only being in the 2-year old room a few days, Wesley went right up to her and gave her a hug when we got there this morning. With this being one of the most important years for learning for Wesley, I am soooooooo excited to be getting such an experienced and seems to be great teacher for him.
